The Henderson PBS&J office is looking for a Senior Structures Engineer for
their transportation structures group. This individual will be responsible for
completing construction documents within budgets, schedules, to industry
standard of care, and to the satisfaction of the client. This individual is
capable of completing structure design with little or no direction. This
individual has proven experience in designing and checking structures by
current AASHTO (LRFD & LFD) methods and is versed in analysis and design
software packages such as STAAD, SAP, XTRACT, LPILE and BDS Suite of programs.
This individual has demonstrated bridge design experience and the ability to
teach, mentor, and lead less experienced engineers and CAD designers.
Assignments include bridges (steel, pre-stressed and post-tensioned concrete,
reinforced concrete), retaining walls, hydraulic structures, and load ratings.
While this position is primarily a technical, project related role, some
project management, marketing, or business development activities may be
required.

Requirements
B.S. or M.S. in Engineering. M.S. or graduate level technical coursework
preferred. This level may be achieved by Engineers with seven years of
experience since B.S. or 6 years since M.S.
Proven technical writing and communication skills. Incumbent may be eligible
for project management training.
