CRA has an opening in its Phoenix, AZ office for a Staff Environmental
Engineer/Scientist, who aspires to become an active employee in a vibrant,
well-established worldwide engineering, environmental, construction, and IT
consulting firm. We offer a compensation package fully commensurate with

Purpose:
The purpose of this position is to assist Project Engineers and Clients with
review of, evaluation of, and implementation of activities related to
environmental regulatory compliance with ongoing and new environmental
projects.
What you get to do:
Assist Project Engineer/Managers with:
Review of regulatory compliance requirements for soil and groundwater
remediation equipment.
Conduct facility compliance evaluations, Phase I and Phase IIs, develop SPCC
plans and SWPPPs.
Assist with soil and groundwater sampling and writing of reports describing
the findings of site investigations, and providing recommendations on further
sampling or remediation requirements.
Support Clients with environmental compliance, groundwater and soil sampling
and reporting.
Requirements
BS in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering or Environmental Science
Minimum 2 plus years experience with investigation and remediation of
environmental sites, preparing Phase Is, evaluating and implementing
regulatory compliance programs
Ability and desire to interact directly with Clients on environmental
compliance issues
Regulatory compliance experience
Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal English.
Must have a valid drivers license, a clean driving record and a vehicle to
travel to clients.
