The Staff Professional I (SP I) will perform site investigation activities,
risk assessments, remedial system operations and maintenance, subcontractor
oversight and permitting. The SP I will assist with the development and
implementation of site-specific work plans. Coordination of projects will be
performed with the direct supervision of senior operations / technical staff and
the SP I will provide training for entry-level technicians and professional
staff as needed.
Qualifications
This position will primarily entail working on upstream oil & gas
environmental projects for a major petrochemical client. The ideal candidate
will have 3-5 years of environmental project experience working on major
petroleum company environmental investigations, monitoring, remediation and
regulatory compliance projects. Willingness to train extensively in the Loss
Prevention/Safety System (LPS) is required. Candidates for this position include
geologists, hydrogeologists, engineers, environmental scientists and related
environmental professionals. The candidate must possess excellent written and
verbal communication skills and be experienced in the use of personal computers.
They must be able to work successfully as a member of a project team.
Bachelors degree in engineering, geology, environmental science or related
field or equivalent combination of experience and education required.
