Need a degreed engineer with structural analysis experience with STAAD & RISA
analysis software. Ideal candidate would have industrial facilities background,
i.e., piperacks, overhead cranes, equipment foundations, beam & column. Company
is a Design Build engineering firm that builds petrochemical and chemical plants
throughout the world. They are not interested in seeing candidates with
commercial facilities, i.e., hospitals, etc., nor are they interested in seeing
bridge, highway experience.
Additional Qualifications:
- Ideal experience range: 8-20 years
- Well-versed with structural steel design calculations (performing
calculations will be their primary task)
- Foundation design background is a plus
- Extensive experience in petrochemical chemical plant, industrial
environment is an absolute must
- Previous long-term employment with multi-discipline engineering firms is a
major plus
- Highly computer literate
- Good knowledge of US codes - Mandatory
- Able to start producing right away, with minimal guidance
Structural Engineering degree with minimum 10 years post graduate experience.
- Tertiary Qualification in Structural Engineering.
- Experienced in the use of structural analysis and design packages.
- Be able to demonstrate a strong background in structural design
techniques.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate a high level of quality and productivity in their own work.
