Job responsibilities:
* Collect and integrate product performance requirements
* Develop and execute test cases based on standard performance testing
methodologies
* Analyze the data and highlight issues.
* Communicate test results with cross-functional teams
* Develop automated test scripts
Requirements
* 1+ years of experience as a Test engineer for networking and security
related products
* Strong networking experience with routing protocols, LAN/WAN, TCP/IP and
layer 7 applications protocols.
* Experience in writing test plans, test suites and test procedures at the
black box and system test levels.
* Experience with testing security technologies such as Firewalls, VPN and IDS
(Intrusion Detection Systems)
* Proficiency in at least one or more of the following languages (PERL, TCL/Expect,
C/C++),
* Knowledge with traffic generation tools such as IXIA, Spirent, etc highly
desirable.
* Network protocols performance testing and analysis knowledge preferred
* Ability to anticipate problems and issues, and to recommend solutions to the
problems
* Outstanding interpersonal and problem solving skills.
* MS in Computer Science or equivalent is preferred.
