Supports and maintains client's local & wide area data networking, call center systems, business telephony, voice mail, and associated telecom services. This position will perform overall network engineering, analysis, configuration, and performance management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS ( Include in order of importance)

• Develops project plans with milestones, measure progress against milestones, evaluate performance against goals.
• Participate on cross functional teams to design and deliver technology systems.
• In conjunction with the security team, ensure all data networking & telecomm systems are running operating systems and virus protection identified as client standards.
• Define and support telecomm based requirements for internal and external customers through work with business units.
• Provide technical expertise for call center, business telephone, wide area, local area networking and systems.
• Provide operational, technical, and analytical support for data & telecommunications services.
• Implements network monitoring and conducts capacity planning.
• Acts a business partner with the user and client community to determine data networking & telecommunications solutions and strategies.
• Prepares and maintains procedures, standards, and necessary documentation.
• Provide customer satisfaction to both internal and external customers and strive to continuously improve service delivery.

TYPICAL EDUCATION: 4 year College Degree, preferably in Information Technology or Engineering, Cisco certification preferred, Microsoft certification preferred

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE: 5+ years related experience in Data Networking w/ proven understanding of call center & telephony technology, Excellent problem definition and resolution skills

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE: IPv6, WINS, DHCP, DNS, W2K, AD, SMS, TCP/IP, ATM, MPLS, Frame Relay, IP Networking, VoIP, ACD, DID, VPN, BPG, DNS, WiFi, WLAN
