Volk Optical, the world’s leading manufacturer of Diagnostic Lenses for
Ophthalmology and Optometry, is looking for an Electronics Technician to join
our growing company.
The job will include:
· Assembling and testing electrical and mechanical products that assist eye
surgeons during surgeries.
· Evaluating and repairing returns from customers.
· Assisting customers with simple technical issues via phone.
· Writing / Revising work instructions.
· Maintaining accurate inventory of components required. Working with
purchasing to ensure a reliable supply of components to meet the assembly
schedules.
· As time permits, the candidate will assist the R&D department in the
development of new products
Requirements
Candidates should have a 2 year associates degree, and a few years of
practical work experience, or at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
Salary will depend on level of experience. Volk offers competitive pay and
