Mechanical Engineer Job -> CONTRACT NEED for an experienced LEAD MECHANICAL ENGINEER to support design changes at major NUCLEAR facility in NW South Carolina. Requirements include BSME or equivalent and 10 or more years of power plant design and analysis experience in nuclear power. Selected candidate will be a self starter, will have strong communication, leadership, computer skills and have experience developing design change packages for nuclear industry. Preferred Qualifications: Qualified Reviewer of implementation procedures, Utility training qualifications meeting INPO/ACAD 98-004 critieria, design experience with HVAC systems, and experience with Amertap raw water cleaning systems.

Responsibilities include developing equipment specifications and/or Engineering services, developing / checking engineering design documents, design/analysis calculations, insuring compliance of piping and other mechanical components/systems (ASME/ANSI/B31.1). Candidate will also be responsible for design guidance, review, as well as on-time and required quality regarding design deliverables; additionally for providing craft field technical support during design change package implementation. Mechanical Engineer Job -> When you apply to this job you will be asked the following questions: Do you have a BSME or equivalent and 10 or more years of power plant design and analysis experience in nuclear power? Do you have previous background in design-analysis calculations (e.g.; hydraulic flow calculations, HVAC sizing airflow calculations, etc.)? Are you able to provide direction to Electrical and Civil Engineering groups? Do you have past experience with this? Do you have past working experience on industry utility training qualifications that meet INPO-ACAD 98-004 criteria? Do you have design experience with HVAC systems and-or experience with Amertap raw water cleaning systems? Previous experience as a Quality Reviewer?
