Responsibilities:
-Analyze reports, maps, drawings, tests and aerial photographs on soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics and other topographical and geologic data to plan and design projects
-Calculate cost and determine feasibility of projects based on analysis of collected data
-Prepare or direct preparation and modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, environmental impact studies and designs for project
-Inspect construction site to monitor progress and ensure conformance to engineering plans, specifications and construction and safety standards
-Use computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents


Qualifications:
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from a four-year college or university. Previous experience in a civil or environmental engineering role preferred, but not required. Experience in landfill design, landfill gas, permitting or field service is also a plus
