Position Description:

RF/analog or microwave solid state circuit design engineer, specifically with expertise in PA and discrete Multi Chip Module design. Plan, design, analyze, simulate, verify, document and release to production RF/analog/microwave ICs for wireless applications.


Qualifications:

The candidate will provide a leadership role on a product development team composed of other design engineers, technicians, and layout designers to effectively plan and execute RF/analog/microwave IC and printed circuit board circuit designs. This person will face challenging performance parameters in the design of power amplifier, power control and front end module products for handsets. The candidate must be able to perform and mentor other engineers in RF/analog or mixed signal design through simulations within Cadence SpectreRF, HP ADS, MW Office, HSPICE, or PSPICE. Must have the ability to schedule, manage and execute a project to meet deadlines, and cost targets plus communicate program and technical goals or issues to management and the customer. In addition, be able to understand market drivers and how they impact the success of Skyworks circuit designs. This position requires a BSEE or MSEE with a minimum of 8 years of experience.
