Responsibilities:
VeriSign Authentication Services division provides security and
strong authentication solutions to secure the information assets
of over 450,000 websites and over 1000 large enterprises.
In this role, you will be working with VeriSign Identity
Protection Portal team. You will help the design and development
of the portal framework, interacting with Product Management,
Professional Services, customer service, and VeriSign
Operations. You are expected to provide technical leadership and
help to develop innovative solutions using new and evolving
protocols and frameworks.
Experience - External:- A minimum of 7 years experience in
software development including at least 3 years of experience in
developing complex multi-tiered client-server systems.
- Development experience spanning a variety of programming
languages and platforms with emphasis in C++, Java, C#, J2EE, Web
services, Tomcat, Weblogic, UNIX/Linux.
- Portal development experience with Struts, JSP, Servlets,
WebWorks.
- Must have strong communication and organization skills, with
experience working successfully in a business-driven organization.
- Must have demonstrated ability to work independently as well as
in teams and take initiative to investigate, learn and
communicate. Must be able to make recommendations regarding
emerging technologies and new product concepts.
- A MS in Computer Science/Engineering or related field.
- Knowledge in the following areas is also a plus - cryptography,
security fundamentals and service-oriented architectures.
