Position Description:

A member of a team of RF Systems engineers developing RF integrated circuits. Will be responsible to take performance and channel requirements and determine the RF receiver requirements for cable, terrestrial and satellite communication systems. Will work closely with the marketing group and RFIC designers to create a RFIC specification and make trade-offs between design and process limitations and required systems performance. Will assist RFIC designers in test, debug and IC verification. Will work closely with product and test engineers through qualification and to insure efficient probe and final test. Will be responsible to create a system reference design and work closely with initial customers for design-in into their product lines.

Qualifications:

The minimum requirement includes 5-10 years RF systems engineering experience. Must have receiver architectural knowledge, this includes noise figure, phase noise, sources of non-linearity's and spurious performance. Must be familiar with PLL and synthesizer design. Knowledge of ADS. Effective verbal and written communications skills. The education requirement is B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering.
