Description:
Established Baton Rouge Engineering firm is currently searching for a
Structural Engineer with at least 3-5 years design experience; P.E licensed or
ready to get P.E. Candidate must have BS in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
Should be registered in one state. Candidate must
possess the ability to work independently or with little to no supervision.
Projects will range in size from small to very
large.
Prior experience working with the following
preferred: Chemical manufacturing plant structures, foundations, and civil
projects; commercial building structures and foundations; roads and bridges;
fire origin and cause investigations; other investigative and forensic
engineering engagements for the insurance industry; etc.
Skills needed:
Structural, piping, mechanical design, design calculations, drafting skills,
excellent writing skills.
Heavy client interaction on all projects.
Very little travel maybe 1 or 2 times per
year.
Salary:
commensurate with experience.
EDUCATION
REQUIRED:
Bachelor of Science.
