Your Responsibilities:
Investigates/analyses product/process problems. Manages local equipment
calibration, administers capital asset transfers and provide support for
periodic capital asset auditing. Designs and implements changes/enhancements to
existing process procedures, equipment and systems.
Manages local laboratory equipment calibration. Serves as interface to site
measurement and test equipment calibration system. Ensures all department
measurement and test equipment is properly registered with the calibration
recall system and facilitates the calibration of equipment in response to
notifications of calibration due.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge of fundamental electronics circuit design and measurement, versatile
in use of electronic measuring equipment - oscilloscopes, voltmeters, spectrum
analyzers. General familiarity with mechanical design, and inspection methods.
Knowledge of general software architecture, computer system and peripherals
hardware architecture. Knowledge of device programming tools. Versatility with
common PC software applications - Excel spreadsheets, Word, Visio, etc.
Competence in prototype construction, electrical wiring and system
documentation. Competence in electronics trouble-shooting techniques. Competence
with CAD design tools a plus. Familiarity with product manufacturing and systems
integration processes, use of factory management systems.
Your Profile:
Three to five years experience in hardware/software systems technical design
support and manufacturing. Two or four year engineering degree or equivalent
experience required
