Job Knowledge:
- Must have knowledge of electrical systems, in
particular distribution and high voltage substation facilities.
- Ability to work with other engineering groups within
SRP, utilize SRP engineering computer tools, familiar with SRP''s electric
system, construction methods and design standards.
- This position requires excellent teamwork,
communication and customer service skills.
- Must have the ability to prepare engineering design
drawings, bill of materials, and notices to proceed. Incorporate input from
other design groups.
- Conduct and document design meetings. Interact with
field personnel on construction issues.
- Direct activities of drafting resources. Must be
capable of handling multiple tasks with varying level of priorities.
- Assist with addressing system needs using engineering
principles. Capable of supporting industrial projects, as well as non-standard
substation design applications.
Requirement:
- Bachelor''s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited
curriculum or state professional engineering registration.
- Must have demonstrated the successful accomplishment of work in the field
of electrical engineering.
