• New product introduction • Process, raw material and other safety reviews (including HAZOP and PHA) • Product quality improvements • Productivity/Asset Utilization Improvement Projects • Cost reduction efforts • Capacity improvement initiatives through process optimization • Production unit support, troubleshooting equipment and processes • Develop and support process recipes in the Delta-V (DCS) system • Provide support for capital project installation as the process engineer, Capital Deployment Process (CDP). • Technical support for resolution of customer issues and for the disposition of off-grade materials. • Technical support for planning and scheduling of production, cleaning, and other batch transition issues. • Potential leadership role

Skills and Competencies: • Strong leadership in safety • Customer Focus with internal and external contacts • Interpersonal Skills to effectively interface with plant, technical, research and business members at all levels • Team Skills • Organizational and Time Management Skills for handling multiple projects • Problem Solving Skills • Creativity • Action Oriented – must be able to work independently • Communications – must possess excellent verbal and written skills • Familiar with Analytical test methods such as GC, LC, particle size, molecular weight, Tg, etc.

Education and Experience: • BS or MS Chemical Engineering • Minimum of 3 years experience • Experience in chemical process industry preferred • Emulsion polymerization experience preferred
