Opportunity: This exciting company has had "instant" success on one product and needs to diversify. Your input could be the next critical step toward future success. This is definitely a "hero-maker" job. Current successful product involves complex scheduling engine/business rules technology; you will extract "core technology" and use this to build new products coded in C# and ASP.Net, as well as some Java. Technology: includes ASP.Net, .Net Framework 1.0 and 2.0, C#, Java scripting, MS SQL Server 2005 &2000,SQL report services. VStudio 2003 & 2005. OLAP, SQL Analysis Services.
Future plans: We plan to promote you to Engineering Manager in a few months, OR you can remain as "principal architect" if you choose. This is an extremely fast-moving, fast-growth situation. Work directly for VP and company founders.


Salary: To $150K or better plus stock

Requirements: (you must have ALL to qualify)

• Strong track record as an architect
   
• some coding skills if needed, C#.Net, ASP, Java
   
• Good product strategy background
   
• Live in or readily commute to San Francisco
• BSCS or better
