Position Summary
Designs, implements, and maintains control applications for refinery process units ranging from basic regulatory controls to advanced, multi-variable control systems. Maintains DCS database including tag building, alarms, group and trend displays. Creates and revises operator-interface graphics. Applies process engineering background and experience to recognize deficiencies or potential problems in unit operation and recommends options for improvement. Coordinates other engineering and operations personnel to implement new equipment and instrumentation and troubleshoot operating problems.


Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering required with a Chemical Engineering degree preferred. Minimum eight years of process related experience in a petroleum refinery or chemical plant required. Process control experience in process control with Honeywell TDC3000/TPN DCS system preferred. Experience in Advanced Control Applications (e.g. DMC Plus) required.
