General Requirements:
We are seeking a seasoned software engineer for Object Oriented analysis,
design, development and programming in C/C++. This position will be involved in
design, modeling, analysis, testing and documentation of instrument control and
data analysis software.
Experience Requirements:
This position requires a Bachelor degree or equivalent and 4 - 6 years of work
experience. Software experience required includes C/C++, Object-Oriented
Analysis, Design, and Programming (OOA/OOD/OOP, UML), UNIX, Linux/GNU tools
experience, Windows (NT/2000/XP) development experience,X11 GUI development
experience (Qt, GTK+, Motif, or Other),Real-Time OS experience OS/Linux/Other),
LabVIEW, XML, TCP/IP networking,Assembly, Device driver development; Hardware
experience includes PCI/CompactPCI, x86 (Intel/AMD), PowerPC (Freescale/Motorola),
including AltiVec instruction extensions, Serial (RS-232/422), USB, Ethernet;
Domain experience includes MIL/Gov development process artifact development (SDP,
STP, ICD, IRS etc.), CMMI Level 2+ experience, Software Test experience;
Secondary technical experience includes, Perl/Python/Ruby/Other script or shell
language, Java, MATLAB/Simulink, FireWire (IEEE-1394).
