Siemens Power Generation is announcing a Construction Coordinator/Engineer opportunity. This position has great opportunities for growth into a management role.

Job responsibilities include:
Help the Construction Manager in overseeing the complete installation of mechanical equipment and assist in the checkout, commissioning, and startup of Air Pollution Control Systems Wet/Dry Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD), Electrostatic Precipitators (ESP), Fabric Filters, Pulverized Activated Coal (PAC) and Spray Dry Absorbers (SDA) equipment. Co-ordinate and track subcontractor work progress and manpower, extra work, RFI's and equipment deliveries. Participate in updating the project construction schedule. Monitor safety at all times.

Travel: Extensive travel required; estimate 85%. Position reports to Wheelabrator Air Pollution Control headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA. However, due to the nature of this work, position can be based almost anywhere in the USA. Current job site possibilities include: CT, IN, IL, KY, MA, MD, MO, PA, SC, TX, VA and WI.

Requirements:
• Associates Degree or High School Diploma
• 5 years of relevant construction experience, preferrably in industrial manufacturing environment or commercial industry.
• Direct hands-on experience with all field craft labor and jurisdictional assignments.
• Experienced in reading design / construction drawings and specifications.
• Must be computer literate using Outlook, Word, Excel and office equipment.
• Must have ability and willingness to work extended hours in difficult situations. Some weekend, holiday and shift work may be required. May be continuously away from home for as long as a month.
• Valid USA drivers license, good driving record, and ability to rent and drive a vehicle.
