Job Description
Major Responsibilities:
Develop and implement full-scope events, meetings and tradeshows in support of
Siemens' communication strategies for employees and customers.
Integrate and coordinate with counterparts across the global organization on
event programs to ensure consistency of execution and coordination of resources.
Skills required:
Advanced communications skills, including knowledge and experience in meeting
planning trade show management, print production and presentation
development/speech writing.
Proven advanced project management capabilities, including the ability to manage
external vendors and internal cross-functional resources.
Requires a high level of organizational and logistical capabilities in areas
such as meeting planning that include arrangements for transportation, lodging,
entertainment, and overall agenda development for large, hig-profile customer
functions as well as internal meetings.
Abillity to deal effectively with people al all levels of the organization.
Ability to deal effectively with people at all levels of the organization.
Fluency in German, Spanish and English preferred.
Education Background:
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Public Relations,
Business Administration or equivalent experience, plus 8+ years direct
experience in the communications function. Certified Meeting Planner (CMP)
certification preferred but not required.
