Facilities Project Engineer

This is a great opportunity to work for a large and growing company located in Southeast Pennsylvania . The manufacturing plant you will work in employs more than 2000 workers.

You will provide all engineering support necessary to keep production facility systems and manufacturing areas functioning efficiently.

• Will working with air compressors, dust collection systems, and fire alarm/emergency type projects of $250K and up.
• Will be working on facilities related project engineering like HVAC systems, boilers, compressors, etc.
• Manages capital projects for the plant. Prepares and maintains construction or engineering project proposals, receives bids, works with equipment manufacturers or outside contractors and monitors their progress.
• Works with purchasing in negotiating with equipment vendors and outside contractors.
• Ensures that engineering services are provided to the production units to keep the equipment running. Directs the Preventive Maintenance Program to reduce machine downtime, and increase run-time efficiency.
• Works closely with environmental and safety specialists.

BS in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology or similar, plus four to ten years experience. Experience working in a large manufacturing plant, and with boilers, compressors, HVAC systems is required.
