Competencies
The position requires strong coordination, organization, teaming and communication abilities along with horizontal integration skills. An understanding of specification trees and the requirements flow down process is required. A familiarity with DOORS database management system is preferred. Experience with military tactical radio systems is preferred. A strong systems, IP and Mobile Ad-Hoc Networking background is required. Experience in networking, especially in routing, QoS, and queuing theory, is preferred. A background in security architecture/Information Assurance is also preferred. Familiarity with risk management procedures and associated tools is required. Strong skills in development, maintenance and assessment of systems, software development and integration schedules are required. Active Secret clearance is required. Travel may be required to interface with customers and teammates. Requires educational credentials meeting the Boeing classification standards for engineers and typically 14 to 19 years' experience in an engineering classification or educational credentials meeting the Boeing classification standards for engineers and either a Master's degree with 12 to 17 years' experience or a PhD degree with 9 to 14 years' experience in an engineering classification. Prefer degree in Networking Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Sciences.


Education
Bachelors degree in EE/CE/CS with 14 to 19 years experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with 12 to 17 years' experience or a PhD degree with 9 to 14 years experience.

CS330453 The Boeing Company recently announced that their facility located in Anaheim, California, will be closed by 2010 and all jobs will be relocated with the majority moving to the Huntington Beach, California facility. The majority of these employees will move between First Quarter 207, and First quarter 2008.
