Job Description
• Responsible for verification and validation of all Informatics software.
• Responsible for department test planning (plan for testing, define standards,
define process).
• Writes, revises, and verifies test
procedures for product evaluation to attain quality software efficiently.
• Ensures department conformance to quality process (existence and maintenance
of unit and acceptance tests exist and are maintained).
• Maintains continuous integration testing: responsible for making it run and
keeping it running.
• Defines and executes manual tests and automated tests. Integrate testing into
build.
• Implements and runs manual tests.
• Ensures that all software developed has acceptance criteria/acceptance
tests/test plan.
• Ensures FDA and ISO compliance.
• Participates in sprint planning to ensure adequate testing and be aware of
plans.
• Participates in daily team meeting to be aware of ongoing activity and ensure
testing.
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, plus five to 10 years
of related work experience in the software QA field. Automated testing
experience strongly preferred. Experience in an FDA Regulated industry as well
as an agile software development environment preferred.
