Peripheral Computer Support, Inc. - Computer Technology Solutions, LP (PCS - CTS) is a privately held After Sales Support company providing services to a range of Fortune 500 companies. We are currently seeking motivated, candidates for several Engineering positions such as Solder Process Engineer in the Houston area.

The Solder Process Engineer is responsible for developing, evaluating, and improving the Solder repair and assembly process methods to obtain maximum productivity levels.
Responsibilities:

•Provides guidance and support for repair the assembly processes and equipment
•Develop and maintain solder reflow profiles for PCB repair process
•Identifies and implements cost reduction opportunities.
•Instruct, guide, assist, and mentor the production operators.
•Recommend engineering design changes as needed.
•Develop and maintain process work instructions.
•Data collection to drive continuous process improvement and root cause corrective action
•Create and implement process control and improvements.
•Interface with cross-functional work teams on NPI projects.
Requirements:

•Bachelor's degree in technical/engineering field.
•At least 5 years of electronics manufacturing or repair experience with demonstrated knowledge of Solder placement and soldering, hand assembly, and repair.
•Experience in leading cost reduction and continuous improvement projects.
•Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
•Experienced in Word, Excel, MS Project
•Strong mechanical aptitude.
•Experience in leading lean projects.
