Legacy responsibilities and expectations - Field Applications Engineer
1. Resolve complex technical problems, including design with and qualification
of Spansion products. Requires BSEE+ or equivalent with 5+ years of experience.
2. Gather and communicate market requirements (local, regional and global
perspective), competitive info, key technical issues and new growth segments
3. Manage information flow to/from key customers to ensure design-in success
with Spansion products
Additional Value-Add - Market Development Focus
1. Drive new designs as genesis of future revenue
2. Technical Leadership - Coordinate resources in Field and Factory to drive
design-in success
3. Develop new Markets with Ecosystem partners, Customer and Content Providers
Summary - Leverage a solid technical base (systems focus) to drive business
success with current/new customers and current/new partners.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A technology related bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and
experience plus 5 years of related experience. Requires experience and technical
expertise in systems design, microprocessors, microcomputers, development
systems and related software with good communications skills. An advanced degree
may reduce the minimum experience required.
