Responsible for producing electrical designs with this leading manufacturer of heavy mobile equipment. Coordinates, as required, with other engineering teams and other internal departments to integrate design efforts and assure proper function of the complete product package. Maintains knowledge of all products, business conditions and markets and recommends appropriate technology to meet current trends.

Requires Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
Technology (or similar). Two or more years (preferably more) successful
Electrical Design Engineering experience for a manufacturer. College level math
skills needed. Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and logic design.
Working knowledge of MRP systems specifically bills of material structure and
organization of models and options.
Experiences Required:
PLC ladder programming (prefer
IEC1131 or IFM PLC experience)
Operator control panel layout
and design
Panel/Harness assembly layout
and design
Some 2D/3D CAD experience
12/24VDC design experience on
mobile machinery
DC/AC motor control experience
including VFD's (24v-336v)
System integration
System troubleshooting
Experience in one or more
of the following areas is preferred:
Unigraphics drafting experience
Electric vehicle design
experience
Mobile PLC experience
ECT Promise software user
Proficient with MS Office
professional suite, internet and PC's
Knowledge of mobile hydraulic
control systems
Familiar with use of CAN
communication protocol
Basic diesel engine knowledge
