Description
Experienced Professional Technical Sales Architect/Software IT
Architect (SWITA). SWITAs assume overall technical leadership and account
responsibility for designing solutions that leverage the capabilities of the
IBM Software portfolio and drive software sales revenue. SWITAs propose
new/complex software solutions to clients in response to varying business
requirements. Leveraging pre-sales methodologies, SWITAs use in-depth
knowledge of leading-edge solutions and technology in conjunction with
industry and business skills to influence clients and sell IBM solutions.
Leadership experience providing/coordinating necessary technical activities
during the sales cycle, supporting business case analysis, leading IT
specialists, facilitating demos/presentations, supporting customer sat
goals, and working as an integral part of a sales team is required.

Desired Skills
Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of real Software Architectural
experience and trained in one or more formal methodologies of
Architectural design. It is preferable that they have good product
knowledge in at least two of the IBM Software Brands, that of Tivoli,
WebSphere, Data, Lotus, and Rational.
