RESPONSIBILITIES:
- will
be responsible for the design of heating, ventilation and air conditioning
(HVAC) systems and central heating and refrigeration plants (CHRPS) for
buildings and structures at various Port Authority facilities.
-
evaluate project scopes and develop
design criteria, as well as budget for design services and design schedules,
provide technical advice and assistance to facility and other Port Authority
personnel, and prepare the technical scope of work and auditing the mechanical
engineering designs performed by consultants.

Work in a team
and coordinate with other members to perform product enhancements, new
development, testing, and documentation.
BACKGROUND AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
-
minimum of ten years experience in the design of heating,
ventilation and air conditioning systems.

A NY or NJ PE license would be preferable
Working knowledge of AutoCAD and NY, NYC and NJ building codes.
EDUCATION
REQUIRED:
A Bachelors Degree in Mechanical
