Responsibilities:
- Design, implementation, test and evolution of
Java modules for a highly scalable security/transaction system with stringent
performance requirements with concentration on management of authentication
credentials.
- Interact with Product Managers, Systems
Architects, QA and Support groups on a continuous basis.
- Collaborate with other developers in your team
as well as other teams in developing solutions as well as fixing problems.
- Creates JUnits for developed components.
Skills:
- Computer Science or Engineering degree.
- Minimum working knowledge of cryptographic
techniques – symmetric and asymmetric encryption, key management, digital
signatures.
- Exposure to JCE or openSSL required.
- Senior level J2EE skills and working
experience with app servers (WebSphere, Tomcat and WebLogic).
- Senior level design skills and ability to
create design specs using UML diagrams.
- Thorough understanding of multithreading
issues and concepts, and secure Java application practices
- Ability to integrate third party provided
authentication modules and libraries into the system.
- Familiarity with Eclipse, Ant, CVS and UML
tools.
Pluses:
- Application development experience using
Oracle, DB2, or SQL Server environments.
- Financial institution experience such as
online Banking or Brokerage environments.
- Senior level experience with Object Oriented
analysis/design, knowledge of software development methodologies and cycles,
and best practices design patterns.
- Senior level experience in creating services,
libraries and published Java Interfaces.
Education/Experience:
- Minimum 5 years Java experience.
- Minimum 5 years experience in a Java
production and development environment.
- Minimum 3 years experience in credential
management: one time passwords, PKI, certificates, Chip and Pin, etc.
