Area of specialty includes:
- ELECTRICAL - Assists in the performance of an assortment of
engineering duties such as the planning of manufacturing, and the
installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical equipment. Provides
support in the use of electrical devices and energy for commercial, domestic,
and industrial use. Works directly with engineers in other disciplines to
augment production size and value.
MANUFACTURING - Assists in planning and designing manufacturing
processes in an industrial plant. May help improve production methods,
determine manufacturing capacity, and set up production schedules. Assists
with the design, fabrication, modification, and evaluation in support of
manufacturing operations such as machining, plastics processing, assembly, and
material handling.
This position requires travel between 25-50%.
Qualifications:
- BS in Electrical Engineering preferred with 3+ years of applicable
experience required.
- Solid communications skills, both written and verbal, required.
- Knowledge Servo control (A-B Kentics preferred), PLC programming (A-B
Contrologix preferred) required.
- Desired knowledge of process development.
