EDUCATION AND BACKGROUND
Engineering degree or equivalent experience (Mechanical preferred)
Prefer recent graduate with less than 5 years experience.
DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES
· Develop and manage the project scope, schedule, budget, construction
execution,
and resource requirements. Track performance against original plans.
· Ensure compliance with project requirements including goals, objectives,
corporate standards, local requirements, documentation, work processes, etc.
· Provide technical expertise and consulting to unit operations in areas of
project
engineering competencies such as planning, scheduling, construction, etc.
· Provide timely documentation required for operation and maintenance of all
projects.
· Lead and manage project specific construction efforts. Act as primary contact
with constructors for all areas of budget, quality, safety, and schedule.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES (REQUIRED)
· Excellent leadership, interpersonal, organization, and communication skills.
· Excellent logic and problem solving skills for developing schedules,
estimates,
and construction execution plans.
· Ability to plan, coordinate, and meet deadlines for multiple and concurrent
projects.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES (DESIRED)
· Well developed conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
· Familiarity and knowledge of Monomers process units, work processes, and
operations staff.
