Description

A hardware module, lecturer guide and student guide. The hardware module fits into a Structures Test Frame (Structures Test Frame not supplied). Various loads are applied by means of masses on hangers placed at set positions along the span of an arched structure. One end of the arch is pivoted, the other end rolls against a load cell. The load cell connects to a digital force display (digital force display not supplied) and measures the thrust reaction. The equipment includes a lead to connect the load cell to a digital force display. The lecturer guide provides details of the equipment including sample experi-ment results. The student guide describes how to use the equipment and gives experiment procedures. This equipment carries a two-year warranty.
