These days, you find very few computers are being built with the simple beige box. More and more, cases are adding aesthetics for their main selling points, instead of functionality, as you would see in the classic Enlight or AOpen box from a few years ago. "Case modding" has gone mainstream, with even cheaper cases getting the treatment. This X-Dreamer case from XPCases is no different.
The case arrived on my doorstep in surprisingly good shape, considering its trip from the southern United States to Ontario. XPCases shipped the goods in a double box, for protection, so I thought.
Surprisingly, they included some extra goodies as well for me to look at! To dress things up, were also a Silver Multimedia Keyboard and Mouse combo, as well as a blue Cold Cathode, and 4 blue LED fans. So while I don't know if its their standard policy to use the double box, it was much appreciated considering to the "Parcel Olympics" that many carriers participate in.SPECIFICATIONS and FEATURES

As you can see, you are unfortunately paying for a PSU that if you are an avid overclocker, will be better as a paperweight than anything else. However, for more everyday systems, it's sufficient. I used it during the review, but I had to strip down my system a bit in order to have it work correctly. It still managed to power my 2 drive RAID array, but keeping in my 3rd HD for Linux, and leaving my system heavily OC'd was asking too much of it. There were also only four molex (four pin) connectors. While that is fixable by using splitters, I suppose that TurboLink just knows what this thing is capable of, and don't entice you to add more than a minimum load.
