First off we would like to apologize for the low resolution pics, the camera got a bit screwy then we were forced to use a cheapo camera which resolution is stuck at 320x240. There are still two-three pics at high 640x480 resolution but apologies for the low resolution images. When we get the camera fixed we will post the high resolution retakes of what we can retake. Sorry :( Introduction In the last part of this article we left off after Stealthing the CD-Rom. Quite an easy task, but we have a full day ahead of us in Part 2. Though Part 1 was simple, it compares nothing to the mission we have on our hands now, enough talk let's get on it with this… Materials | Rotary Tool | For cutting the Floppy bay cover; get a real thin bit (needle like) | | Floppy Drive | Take it out… | | Screw Driver | Phillips or flathead; grab both | | Acrylic Paint | Get the paint color you need (this is optional) | | Screws | Grab some small screws, like the ones that come with your case | First off we would like to apologize for the low resolution pics, the camera got a bit screwy then we were forced to use a cheapo camera which resolution is stuck at 320x240. Sorry :( "Stealthing" the FLOPPY *Before I say anything, I took a different approach at first and absolutely obliterated my floppy bay cover on accident. Therefore I won't even mention that idea. OuiKikAzz suggested another way and it came out to be great. Though, I had to use an old Antec floppy bay cover since I messed up my old one, but all came out well… Ok, now on with the article… Brace yourself; I'm sure this is going to be a bumpy ride. Every time I mention this idea (Stealthing a floppy) to anyone, the first thing I hear is, "It can't be done…" Well today ladies and gentlemen CraZy of SubZeroTech is going to pull off the unthinkable! First off let me say something; if you have a plain black, red, green, or whatever color case, simply take the floppy drive out and spray paint the front to math your case. As for us people with the funky swirled colors, acrylic coverings, and out of the ordinary cases, we got us a project… First thing you're going to do is turn your computer off. By this I mean shut it down, turn off all power to the computer switching it off the PSU and/or unplugging the cord that leads to it.
