A mouse on the nail

Details of A mouse on the nail

A mouse that it is on a planned nail is that one from Stephen Mascaro, student of the Mit di Boston. This mouse carefullied lay down on the nail of the index, transmits marks them to the PC. Its operation is following: the support of the finger on one surface schiarisce the base of the nail because of the reduction of the afflusso of the blood.

The Nail sensor, thanks to of the most sophisticated sensors, marks it the lowering of the intensity of the red color perceiving the change of the pressure of the finger. And, without some need of the thread, it transmits it to the computer.

Mascaro explains that to difference of the electronic gloves, in which the sensors they are places between the finger and the surface to you, mouse the Nail sensor does not inhibit the perception of the tact. In future the this device, beyond to being used like mouse, it will be possible to also use it in medical field. The doctors to the first crews will be able apporlo to the finger in order to state the manual or surgical abilities.
