Details of David Saul Davis
|
I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. I spend most of my time doing research for my degree. Since September 2002, I have been working with Harvey Richer on various problems involving resolved stellar populations (mostly globular clusters). When I'm not at school I:
Play hockey with the Sturgeons. Also I like to lose in the annual departmental hockey pool. Play ultimate frisbee with Full Frontal Unity Tele ski (usually at Whistler) and I've recently taken up snowboarding too. What's the weather? Get worked paddling the steep rivers of the lower mainland in my C-1. Listen to Byrne Radio, Undie100 or the CBC (radio 1 or radio 3)---not really a full time hobby...I just wanted the link on my homepage.
