Experience the freedom and tranquility of floating across the countryside, seeing a flock of birds fly beneath you, getting a birdseye view of places you know and maybe where you live. We specialise in flights for individuals or couples celebrating that special occasion. Each flight is an adventure, each flight different, the final destination unknown - a remote field or a village green where you may be greeted like an adventurer from another land. One thing is certain: you will have a privileged view of the countryside, towns and villages - an experience never to be forgotten! Hot Air Ballooning takes place throughout the year whenever the weather is suitable. In the summer, our flights generally take place soon after dawn or in the early evening. Winter flights are usually possible throughout the day. The final decision to fly, with safety in mind, always rests with the pilot. When you arrive we will introduce you to your pilot and your adventure will begin! You will receive a briefing from your pilot and an introduction to the ballooning system and then the balloon will be inflated. The flight normally lasts for about an hour, you will land and be met by your ground crew who,with your help, pack the balloon away, then take us all back to our meeting point to toast the flight. Here you will be presented with your first flight certificate signed by your pilot, and celebrate with champaBalloon flight vouchers are available for any occasion or simply just for a memorable experience. For birthdays or other special occasions, boxed helium balloons are available, tied with ribbons and bows with the appropriate message on the balloon ie “Happy 60th etc. The helium filled balloons are supplied in a large box pre-wrapped for your convenience. They are £12.50 each including delivery within a 10 mile radius of Great Missenden. These can be complimented with company sweatshirts, polo shirts and baseball caps at extra cost. gne or soft drinks of your choice.

The European Balloon Company was formed 10 years ago by the Moore Family with the idea offering a quality ballooning experience in the Chilterns. With steady growth the company has become the principal hot air ballon rides company in the area, with a well established reputation. A hot air balloon creates excitement that attracts and holds attention. Thousands of people attend balloon events every year in numbers rivalling many other summer outdoor activities. At an event the balloon can carry your message over the local area and that message is spread by TV and newspaper coverage to millions more people. A balloon advertising campaign is easily managed and our staff can help you with design budget and locations etc. allowing you to get involved as little or as much as you want. We can even teach you to fly during the campaign. Hot air balloons are very cost effective as many national and local businesses have discovered to good effect. For an even more dramatic campaign, special shape balloons using the modern computer aided designs to produce lifelike models of animals, buildings and almost anything the imagination can conjure up, are in regular use.
