Forming part of the industrial codification sector, MACSA was created in 1983 to offer solutions to industrial marking customers demanding assistance for the more and more sophisticated and complex needs related to fabrication and commercialization of industrial marking and identification equipment. From the start our company was a leading manufacturer with a continuous growth in invoicing amount, our forecast for 2006 is about 14 millions EUR. MACSA is currently the only Spanish manufacturer of laser marking equipments and the first in the world developing a dynamic laser for codification on production lines. The system allows printing of alphanumeric characters, logotypes and barcodes on product while ‘on the fly’ on fast production lines (speed of 575 meters per minute) as well as creation of 3000 characters per second. The MACSA dynamic laser is the latest development on the international market and was patented in Europe, United States of America and Japan.

About Company

Macsa has an impressive history with more than 90 years of experience, and to know its history, we must go back to 1908 when the company Framun located in Manresa (Barcelona) set up the manufacture of rubber stamps. A few years later, this company started to distribute machinery and consumables for rubber stamp manufacturers all over Spain. Due to the growing demand for industrial coding, a line which has always been part of Framun's range of products, in 1983 Macsa was created as a completely independent company to focus on finding solutions for the increasingly sophisticated and complex problems posed by laser industrial coding and marking customers. The need to satisfy the end consumer, along with the international regulations and the latest technological advances in distribution and logistics, created the need for all products that are packaged, especially in the food sector, to contain an increasing amount of clearly written variable information.
