About Company

Since 2000 “Haypost” has the status of a Closed Joint-Stock Company. The company implements its functions with the help of 4000 employees possessing high professional skills, in more than 900 post offices. It implements direct post exchange with any overseas country and the countries of the CIS. These activities concern the deliveries of postal cards, letters, packets, parcels, postal containers and “M” bags. The mentioned services are provided as ordinary, registered or insured depending on the conditions of acceptance, treatment, dispatch and delivery. At the same time, EMS and Postal Money Order services are rendered in “Haypost” post offices as well. Post exchange is implemented by 6 routes within the Republic and in Yerevan . More than 800 post boxes are placed throughout the Republic, about 150 boxes of which are in the capital. Along with the main services “Haypost” also provides additional and non-traditional services, namely payment of pensions-grants, acceptance of energy, water, gas, telephone fees. Currently, the postal activities continue to cover the implementation of the development prospective endeavors, establishment of new postal services, a lot of work is being done on EMS expansion, an integrated computer network of postal enterprises has been created. Thanks to the effective distribution of human resources, the postal network has been improved, International postal direct and transit routes have been created, postal security and reliability have been increased. In accordance with the Article 954 of the Civil Code of the Republic of Armenia and due to the necessity of increasing the effectiveness of the "Haypost" CJSC activity the Government of the Republic of Armenia decides (Resolution N 1873- ² of the RA Government, approved on 23.12.2004, certified on 17.01.2005, valid since 18.01.2005) to transfer the right trusted by the stocks of "Haypost" CJSC being the property of the Republic of Armenia to the empowered management of "Converse Invest" Company.
