MK Enterprises was established in 1991 by Mark W. Freiling as a small sub-contractor in electronic assemblies. Within one year, MK tripled its size in employment and financial growth. Rodney W. Hurd, Mark's partner, came on board as Vice President with 27 years of manufacturing experience in 1992. From 1992 to 1998, MK has continued to grow at a rate of 60 to 70% per year. MK Enterprises has set forth as a medium to high volume surface mount assembly plant, with full support in through hole, cable/wire and mechanical assembly.
Between 1997 and 1998 MK Enterprises was ranked 1st in Ohio's Fast Track 50 list for its growth in the industry and 2nd in 1999. In 1999 MK Enterprises was also ranked 16th in the Weatherhead 100 awards. We feel that MK has set a name for itself for both high quality and dependability and its accomplishments in setting long term partnerships with the customer.
