Gear Manufacturing, Inc. (GMI) was founded in 1989 in order to meet the demand for higher quality and quicker deliveries of custom gear products. GMI manufacturers custom gears and gear products to the requirements of the American Gear Manufacturers Association (AGMA), National Aerospace Society (NAS), the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) to name a few.
The industries we service include commercial aircraft, medical, aerospace and defense, oil and gas, marine and after market automotive. Our capabilities include CNC Turning, CNC Milling, CNC Hobbing, CNC Gear Grinding, CNC OD and ID Grinding, CNC Wire EDM, a complete in house department and all the support equipment for a one stop shop.
GMI uses fully integrated accounting and manufacturing Windows-bases computer system for immediate information. GMI is completely committed to the highest levels of quality. We adhere to MIL-I-45208 in manufacturing prototype or production quantities. We are currently preparing for ISO9001:2000 Certification.
