The first service we will provide to you is consultation to ensure that the gear design is appropriate for your company's application. Some of our customers have very capable engineers with gear experience. In these cases where advanced consultation is not necessary we simply do whatever possible to offer support. Other customers are struggling to understand the complicated mechanics involved with gear design because there are limited in-house resources. In these situations we try to help mentor the design engineers and help bring them up to speed on relevant gear design so that they are better equipped to handle their company's demands. Many times we are requested to quote gear designs that are over-engineered. Obviously in this case we can realize higher margins but we are more concerned with making sure the gear set is designed to meet your needs. No more, no less. We lend our expertise to the other extreme as well... when someone is needed to detail the part drawings and specifications. Nissei manufactures about 2,000,000 gear parts every month and we are our own biggest customer. Nissei has two divisions. The gearmotor division designs and manufactures high quality gear motors. And for the gears we trust only ourselves to support our high standards of quality and reasonable cost. Our gear division is vertically integrated to handle everything from cutting the blank to heat treatment and tooth grinding operations. This gives us the ability to cost-effectively measure and ensure quality at every step.
