Company Profile

TrustMission has the ambition of setting up its solutions on several continents to help companies in dealing with cross-border mail transmissions.

By delocalizing production to remote countries, the western states have created two extraordinary phenomena: the use of engineers on major correspondence tasks and a boost in the exchange of physical and electronic mail between countries.

International mail is expensive and transmission times are often incompatible with company tight flow management methods. International registered mail, in the legal sense of the word, still does not exist because the Post Offices generally only authenticate their domestic part.

Hybrid mail is the best way of standing in for the insufficiency is of physical mail. Coupling together paper and electronic medium for international mail is a way of complying with management and legal constraints while reducing the operational costs and risks.

With TrustMission Global Network (TGN), TrustMission printer-partners who will print international mail locally in the receiving country. For each item, this solution will guarantee a short physical transport time, a national stamping cost (sometimes nil if the recipient is ready to accept a secure electronic version) and the reinforcing of legal correspondence proof. The interoperability of cross-border exchanges will strengthen the legal proof of exchange and reduce any disputes or claims resulting from correspondence between several countries.

In addition, to strengthening the security of global transactions, TrustMission is contributing to a "flow looping" project with Identrus, a Banking Certification Authority, drawing on the major banks of the international networks. This project will set an electronic block on invoices and their payments at the TrustMission platform, using the banks as Registering Authorities in charge of handing over the personal identity certificates needed for signature and non-repudiation of transaction and payment mails.

About Company

TrustMission is an incorporated company with a board of directors, holding capital of 1,844,590.60 euros, founded in March 2000 after 2 years of R & D.

Immediately after its founding, TrustMission became the pioneer in hybrid registered letters. It enables the customerto send via the Internet, a digital file that will be materialised as a registered letter, addressed to the recipient by the Post Office. This service means there is no need to physically go to the Post Office and preserves physical proof of the exchange and the content of each message.

TrustMission has so far handled more than 15 million documents and regularly manages approximately 500 graphic charts.

In terms of its perspectives in France, it is estimated that each year 3 billion letters require secure handling (certification, preservation of value of proof, matching) as well as 1.7 billion invoices in France and 20 billion in Europe. On the international scale, the market for transborder mail requiring security is estimated at 6 billion documents.

These high volumes of professional correspondence can be handled in a secure and reliable environment. They can only be processed by a limited number of intermediaries: indeed in the same way as for script currency or monetary dematerialization, the operational risk of processing male movements, to provide the traceability and symmetry of exchanges, requires a limited number of Mail Trusted Third Parties.

TrustMission nevertheless endeavours to ensure the interoperability of formats, protocols and signatures with the technical partners and suppliers of software applications.
