has developed a patented, multidisciplinary, digital-based, 3D platform

Petach-Tikva, Israel. Visionsense currently employs less than 20 people in a
broad range of technology disciplines in Israel.
Overview
Visionsense's
proprietary stereoscopic (3D) visualization system for minimally invasive
surgery (MIS) delivers natural image and depth perception at low cost and paves
the way for new MIS procedures. Current available solutions provide 2D images
that are un-natural and restrict the surgeon's perspective and ability to
perform complex manipulations. Visionsense's patented multidisciplinary digital
disruptive platform technology is based on a miniature 3D sensor that replicates
insect vision (3D in a single eye) and introduces a paradigm shift in the market
place. It is the sole solution for providing low cost miniature stereoscopic
vision. Being computerized allows the implementation of advanced features, like
image analysis and 3D measurements as well as fusion with additional imaging
modalities in real-time. Visionsense is striving for strategic partnership for
the use of the technology in different surgical fields and is in the course of
negotiations with others. Visionsense is targeting the world-wide MIS vision
reusable and disposable sensors, including adjunct software.
