- January 1968. Pickering Electronics started by John Moore to design and
manufacture high quality reed relays for use by Original Equipment
Manufacturer's in switching systems.
- 1973. Pickering Electronics are a major supplier to most UK ATE companies
in a growing market
- 1974. Pickering Electronics moved to new factory in Clacton-on-Sea
- 1981 moved to purpose-built factory of 1000 square metres.
- 1983. Introduced Single In Line (SIL) relays
- 1986. Pickering Electronics doubled the size of the factory to 2000 square
metres
- 1988. After more than 2 years of development and research System 10 was
launched to provide a complete modular solution for switching systems. The
switching systems are sold using the Pickering Interfaces brand name to
distinguish the product from the relay manufacturing business
- 1990. Launched in System 20 switching systems featuring higher
performance, built-in self test and reduced cost per switch
- August 1994. Pickering Electronics gains ISO 9002 (BS 5750)
- December 1997. Pickering Interfaces gains ISO 9002 (BS 5750)
- 1998. Pickering Interfaces launches first PXI products
- January 1999. Pickering Interfaces opens US Office.
- 2000. Pickering Interfaces opens Swedish Office.
- 2001. Pickering Interfaces opens German Office.
- 2001. Pickering Interfaces opens a new larger manufacturing facility
adjacent to Pickering Electronics.
- 2001. Pickering Interfaces launches range of PXI instrument modules.
- 2002. Pickering Interfaces launches the ultra-high density PXI BRIC range.
- 2003. Pickering Interfaces launches new RF instrument modules.
- 2004. Pickering opens a East Coast USA Office.
- 2004. Introduces a range of power supply and instrumentation modules.
- 2005. Pickering opens new factory in the Czech Republic.
- 2005. Pickering launches first LXI compliant products.
- 2006. Pickering opens a French Office.
