About Company
Today it still sounds like dreams of the future, but soon enough it will become reality: Singing posters. Interactive leaflets. Product packings with direct internet access. Furniture changing colour at the touch of a button. Even wallpaper with electromagnetic shielding by an imprinted Faraday’s cage. Wherever it makes sense to add electronic functionality to a mass-printed product – we will be able to provide mass printed electronic features for our customers.
printed systems already “electrifies” paper, cardboards or foils via printed polymer-structures. Ordinary substrates are equipped with digital storage capacity and key sensors by the printing process. printed systems consequently works on the enhancement of the possibilities of mass printed polymer-electronics. Following from this, new applications emerge for this kind of technology. In the long term printed systems intends to develop fully mass printed RFID-tags.
The applied methods are vastly superior in price and production speed to the usual production methods for silicon-based electronics and electromechanical structures. Therefore numerous new markets open for electronic applications – and we make an important step into the direction of our vision: “printed electronics everywhere”.
