Aeronautical Systems, Incorporated was founded and incorporated in 1988 and certified under the United States Government 8(a) program in 1993. ASI has been approved for work under 28 aviation, management, and container SIC codes. Our performance in the Management of Repair and Overhaul Programs, Supply Chain Management, manufacturing and distribution of parts and shipping containers for military aircraft, helicopters, and missiles for customers around the world has put us on a plateau with other industry leaders. We possess and maintain a network of more than 700 quality-conscious vendors. When combined with our own in-house team of "solution-oriented" professionals, the resulting net effect is unbeatable.
We continually strive to earn and maintain the trust and confidence of our customers, suppliers and vendors and just as importantly, our employee staff.
Complementing a "task team" form of management is our warehouse with more than 25,000 items in stock, ready for immediate delivery. We continually enhance our inventory to better service customers with routine, emergency, or A.O.G. parts. In addition to inventory, we have an extensive Technical Library of more than 30,500 drawings and can provide material control, on-site FAA and DCMA inspections, plus a variety of other technical support.
Manpower resources combined represent more than 100 years of aggregate aviation experience. Our resources have enabled us to expand our already strong customer base to include North America, the Far East, Australia, Europe, and South America. We have also increased the range of our product categories to meet customer demands through diversified engineering capabilities, while keeping abreast of the latest in technology and equipment developments.
ASI is conveniently located in the Washington, D.C. metro area. Our headquarters in Sterling, Virginia, provides shipping access to Washington National, Dulles International, and Baltimore International airports; Baltimore and Norfolk Harbors; and numerous interstate highways, in addition to commercial delivery companies.
