About Company
Founded in 1925 by Emilio Curioni, the company started manufacturing machines for wooden box printing. After WWII, Emilio perceived the huge growth potential of the corrugated board industry and switched the manufacturing activity of the company.
After his death, the two sons Pino and Italo continued the growth of the company and moved the production workshop to the present modern headquarters of Galgagnano near Lodi and Milan.
After the first steps with letterpress and printer slotters with single sheet feeding, in the beginning of the 70s Curioni developed its first inline Flexo Folder Gluer: a heavy duty, reliable and competitively priced machine that started a significant development period in the whole industry.
The continuous growth and the increased complexity of machines called for new and more sophisticated machine tools. New investments were made to equip the workshop with the most advanced numerically controlled machine tools available on the market at the time.
