About Company
The GECE, acronym that stands for "Grupo de Estudos em Ciências Espaciais" (in English: Group of Studies on Space Sciences) is a group of Brazilian students united to, through discussion of policies and realization of scientific and social actions, promoting the development of aerospatial science and technology in Brazil.
Started by the OutReach program participants of the 51st Congress of the International Astronautical Federation, supported by CNPq (National Council on Scientific and Technological Development) and by AEB (Brazilian Space Agency), it consolidates itself as a virtual network of students and researchers, interchanging information from the most diverse fields, including engineering (cartographic, civil, electrical/electronic, mechanical and materials science), physics, biology, medicine, physical education and law, aiming the inter-disciplinary character of the projects and making this information more accessible to other researchers and to the general public.
